I take oxybutynin cl er 10 mg tablet every day for my overactive bladder, and now i have been getting up at night to pee like 3 and 4 times a night. Where before i only got up once or sometimes twice. i want to know why? But also, i am reading all side affects, sounds really bad. I DO NOT suffer from any of those side affects. But why? is there another medication that will work that does not have so many side effects.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you wondering about side effects of Oxybutynin . Well there is no medicine , which do not have any side effects , but side effects usually occur when not taken in appropriate dose and taken for long period of time . If your doctor has prescribed , he must have assessed all the pros and cons . As your are saying that you wake up in the night more frequently the before which is opposite effect , you should consult your doctor and discuss the condition with him . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute .
