Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You have furnished incomplete information pertaining to age, gender, purpose of taking Panderm Plus cream.
Panderm plus contains
Ofloxacin and
Ornidazole (antibiotics), Terbenafine (antifungal) and Clobetasole (steroid).
Ofloxacin, Ornidazole and Terbenafine are effective only in treating the mixed skin infections caused by bacteria and fungus. Whereas the use of high potency steroid Clobetasol can lead to various side effects like thinning of the skin, facial hair growth (troublesome in females), prominence of blood vessels (as telangiectasias), rashes, thinning of the skin, and pimples.
I would advise you not to use this cream on your face as it can be harmful and it should never be used as a fairness cream. Instead a skin lightening cream containing one or more of the following skin lightening agents such as
kojic acid,
glycolic acid,
hydroquinone, arbutin etcetera can be used once or twice daily to make the tan fade away gradually.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
