Sir, we are 13 week pregnent. She was hospitalised for three days due to regular vomiting, especially on night. Earlier our DR. prescribed PHEXIN BD-375 GM. Is that medicine have any side effects? Phexin is a antibiotic used to treat infections. Usually during pregnancy the expecting mother might feel vomiting episodes called as hyperemesis gravidarum.
It is quite normal in those times and treatment for that is antiemetics only. Kindly consult a gynecologist for the same and get proper prescription for antiemetic meds.
