What Are The Side Effects Of Plavix?

My daughter is taking the blood thinner Plavix, she is having serious side affects about two hours after she takes it. She has had two blockage surgeries since March. Just recently had another in neck arteries. Couid the plavix be causing her to have the symptoms? her symptons are numbness in head, face and left arm gets heavy .
