What Are The Side Effects Of Predcort Ds And Nexium In An Infant?

Hi Doctor my son 2 and half year he got the Neophrotic syndrome protien was leaking from his kidney. Doctor give him predcort Ds but now he getting hungry multiple times a day.he is getting more chubby. What should we do? He is taking predcort Ds 10mg twice a day and nexium 10 mg once a day. The products I mentioned to you, what are its side effects?

Nexium dont have some serious side effects and it may just cause slight nausea and diarrheas. Predcort is a steroid and steroids may supress immune system, cause skin changes and make him gain weight easily. Doctor should decide abot cost benefit of these medications but this is standard therapy in treatment of nephrotic syndrome.
