To whom it may concern,
My question is regarding Proscar. My husband has been on Proscar for about 5 years. We would like to consider having a child now. Will my baby be at any risk if he continues taking it? Am I at risk? Are his semen "normal"?

Porscar is FINASTERIDE :Dose 5 mg daily .
Finasteride is CONTRAINDICATED in children , exposure of pregnant women to finsteride either via direct contact / crushed tablet or through SEMEN of male sexual partners who are taking finasteride, pregnancy , lactation .
