Questranlite is a bile acid binding resin commonly prescribed to reduce high levels of cholesterol in the blood and itching associated with the obstructive jaundice (bile flow block). Its common side effects include headache, dizziness, constipation, increase loss of fat in the stool, deficiencies of fat soluble vitamins and flatulence. Consult your doctor for effective alternative medications such as colesevelam or ursodeoxycholic acid or a dosage reduction of questran lite.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
