What Are The Side Effects Of Xanax Overdose?

I overdosed on Xanax while I was also on meth and the ambulance got there so fast I hadn t completely blacked out yet. I had an empty stomach and took 15+ bars, and at the time was doing about a gram of meth a day. What could ve been the worst case scenario besides just simply dying?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Common side effects of Xanax are drowsiness, dizziness, sleep problems (insomnia), memory problems, poor balance or coordination, slurred speech, trouble concentrating and diarrhea.

Methamphetamine is stimulant of the central nervous system and alprazolam may act in the opposite.

Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Regards,
