What Are The Side Effects Of Castration?

Are there any health benefits of castration, for men ? I am thinking of this for a few reasons. My brother died of colon cancer a few years back. I am 55 and have little sexual drive and no interest in having children. I have severe anxiety and some issues with anger, also diabetic and heart problems. From what I see I like the possible benefits. What are the bad side effects?
