General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Delayed adverse reactions to radiographic contrast media are usually cutaneous (reported incidence varies from 1% to 23%) and include rash, skin redness, and skin swelling, sometimes associated with nausea, vomiting, and dizziness, that begins 1 hour or longer (usually 6–12 hours) after the administration of the dye.
They are usually self-limiting and do not require any treatment.
You can take drugs like levocetirizine to hasten up the resolution.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
