What Are The Side Effects Of Cortisone Shot In Wrist?
I got a cortisone shot in my wrist about 7 1/2 weeks ago. About 3 days ago the area where that shot was turn a different color then the rest of my skin. It looks almost bleached. When i tryed to google this all I found was that there can be discoloring in the area but it will go away 48 hours after the shot. Today the bleached part looks a lot pink or redlish. What could this be?
From the available description it appears that the current problem i not related with cortisone shot. It is very unusual to have such skin reaction after almost 50 days of cortisone shot. The first possibility is insect bite in which you get such chnge in skin color. Secondly it could be manifestation of connective tissue disorder which are very common in middle age women.
'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help". Thanks
