Hi,

Dronis 30 tablet contains both ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone which is used to treat irregular periods and prevent unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. It is also used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). You should take this medication for as long as your prescribing doctor has recommended Dronis 30 tablet for you according to your medical condition. You should not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor about it first.

Side effects of Dronis 30 tablet are irregular uterine bleeding, nausea, vomiting, headache, sweating, changes in appetite, abdominal pain, bloating, indigestion, fatigue, dry mouth, changes in body weight, breast tenderness and enlargement, mood swings, depression, delayed wound healing, hot flashes, changes in sleep patterns, vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge, unusual tiredness and weakness, changes in sexual drive, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should inform your doctor first for medical attention.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General And Family Physician
