What Are The Side Effects Of Emergency Contraceptive Pills?
I want to start birth control again. I use to use it for heavy periods - now I want to use it for heavy periods and due to the fact i am sexually active and wish to take more preventive measures.
The problem is - my doctor only wants to do it in intervals of 3 months (only getting a prescription good for 3 months, and go back ever 3 months for a pap.)
This was BEFORE I was sexually active - so there was absolutely NO reason for that many pap tests. She actually made me feel uncomfortable about how much she wanted the PAP test done - so I quit taking birth control, plus to get back in took a long time, and I'd be out 2 weeks without birth control before I got into her clinic.
She's the only doctor I can go to in my city - all the others are male. I just feel uncomfortable with a male doctor giving me PAP tests.
My question is - Do all girls get a PAP every 3 months? and do all doctors only fill prescriptions for 3 months only?
