Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Each tablet of Forecox is having combination of four drugs, Rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and ethambutol.
All these drugs are very toxic and have many side effects.
All these cause gastritis, vomiting, nausea, abdominal fullness etc.
Rifampicin, isoniazid and pyrazinamide also cause drug induced hepatitis (liver damage).
Ethambutol causes kidney damage.
So better to get done liver and kidney function tests after 15 days of treatment.
In diet, avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid oily and spicy fatty food. Take plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Since you are having vomiting and nausea, better to take these drugs after breakfast. You should not also take antacid (pantoprazole) on empty stomach before breakfast to prevent vomiting and gastritis.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
