What Are The Side Effects Of Frisium 5mg?
my child is 1year 11months old At the year of 1 she had convelsion with fever and recently also she gone through the same problem and we our doctor recommended frisium 5mg tablet for her ,he told to take it whenever fever started.so is that medicine is good for her?She should take it?

Your child had episodes of typical febrile seizures. There is no need of using any daily anti epileptic drugs at this moment. Febrile seizures are harmless and they do not lead to epilepsy in future.
The only treatment required is aggressive lowering of body temperature as soon as he gets fever, and Frisium tablets during the period of fever.
Febrile seizures stop on their own, once the child crosses the age of six.
