What Are The Side Effects Of High Thyroid During Pregnancy?
hi doc i am 9 weeks pregnant but at 5 weeks pregnant has TSh tested and was normal (a bit high but normal) now only 4 weeks later it jumped to 14 but still T3 and T4 are normal--endo immediately raised my syntthroid from 112 to 137--will baby definitely have mental retardation or birth defects? I am terrified

if a lady has hypothyroidism ( Lazy thyroid gland), baby may have - but not must - low IQ.
What your doctor did was good. You need to do a new TSH level after 1 month.
