What Are The Side Effects Of Lisinopril Over Dose?

I just accidentally took more lisinopril then prescribed.My prescription is for one 10 mg tab a day. I was reaching for another prescription (propranolol) in which I take two pills.I accidentally grabbed the bottle containing lisinopril and took two of those before I realized my mistake. It has been about 7 hours since I took the original dose of lisinopril.This means I have had a total of 30 mg today. I weight about 180 and am female.Is there reason for concern? Note:I did not take the propranolol since I have taken extra lisinipril.

hi,
as you have been using it for some time, a little extra dose is not going to harm you. The dose you took is still in the therapeutic range of lisinopril.
I would suggest you not to bring sudden postural variations for 1 day till the drug is excreted, as postural hypotension can throw you down.
If you feel giddy, take some buttermilk with extra salt. That should be sufficient.
you will be fine, do not worry.
