Hi,

It is considered to be safe for both mother and the unborn baby. MCBM-69 is a multivitamin (folic acid, methylcobalamin and pyridoxine) commonly prescribed during pregnancy to treat the deficiency states.

These vitamins are used to prevent anemia during pregnancy whereas folic acid also plays a vital role in preventing a serious birth defect (spina bifida) in the newborn baby.

Generally it is well tolerated by most of our patients, however it may cause nausea, heartburn, altered taste and flatulence. So, there is nothing to worry take this medicine as prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
