What Are The Side Effects Of Nocturnal Emissions That Occur Twice A Week?
I am fifteen years old and experience nocturnal emissions from intervals of up to four weeks to as frequent as twice a week. From reading articles regarding the effects of nocturnal emissions, they have described being incapable of focusing as one of them. This concerns me because I am a passionate and diligent student who does not want any outside influences that may affect my academic performance. Are there any other side-effects to having nocturnal emissions? Is the rate at which they are occurring normal? Should I seek professional assistance from my personal doctor?
Hi. Welcome to HCM..A nocturnal emission or wet dream is a type of spontaneous orgasm involving either ejaculation during sleep for a male. Nocturnal emisions are most common during adolescence and early young adult years. The frequency of nocturnal emission is highly variable. Some may experience very frequently and some rarely. The important thing to understand is that there is nothing wrong with a male if he experiences a nocturnal emission, as they are normal and healthy experiences. At the ages of 10-15, boys start to produce sperm and gain the ability to ejaculate. It is at this time that most males experience nocturnal emissions, sometimes even before they learn about masturbation. While sleeping, the male's genitals may rub against the bed or sheets, or he may unknowingly stimulate them himself. When this happens, the male may become so sexually aroused that he has an orgasm, along with a nocturnal emission. Since its a new experience you may think that something is wrong in u. But this is not the fact and its completely normal. So just neglect it and concentrate on other productive work. All d best for ur future..
