What Are The Side Effects Of Noriday?
Hi, I am 23yrs old and recently started taking the pill after a long break from birth control. I ve been taking noriday for around 6 weeks and in the last two weeks my breasts have become very tender. In the last week I have had period pains which I suffer with anyway however they feel worse then normal and my period is not very heavy to say I m havin so much pain it s appearing as brown discharge. Is this a common side affect of noriday or is there a possibility I could be pregnant?

Noriday contains norethisterone, a female natural sex hormone that is used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. Noriday is also known as progesterone only pill or mini pill. Like other medications this medication has some side effects of its own like breast tenderness and enlargement, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge etc.
Again, if someone takes Noriday correctly in the recommended dose and duration, then it is extremely unlikely that she will become pregnant. But it is reported that as many as 13 out of 100 women may become pregnant while using mini pill like Noriday. It is assumed that the failure rate of mini pill is higher than that of other hormonal contraceptive methods. If you have any doubt, then you can do urine for pregnancy 7 days after the next missed period.
