What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Loryna Birth Control Pill?
Hello. I have been taking Loryna BC for 2.5 months now and have been having bad side effects. I called my doctor about them and her reply was just to stick it out. I looked on this site at the several reviews and I share many of the complaints as these other women. Any advice?
Oral contraceptive pills are quite effective against pregnancy but unfortunately, some patients may experience adverse effects with their use. The most common side effects are mood changes, irregular bleeding, breast tenderness, nausea, stomach upset, weight gain, fluid retention, etc. Other side effects may happen as well.
Most of the time, these side effects do get better with the continual use of the pill. If the symptoms continue even though you have been using the pill for 3-4 months, you may need to consider alternative ways of contraception (IUD for instance).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
