What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Metformin?
Was on Metformin 500 1X a day. Made me horribly sick. Switched to Metformin 500 ER 1X at night. still horribly sick. Very hard to cope with working, daily life this ill all the time. Met a type 2 diabetic on 500 regular Metformin who told me she cuts it and takes half 2X a day. She s not suffering side effects like me. Any reason for me not to try this?

It seems that you don't tolerate this drug well. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your endocrinologist in order to switch into another type of antidiabetic drug, which you may tolerate better.
