What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Targin?

I ve just had a total right hip replacement three weeks ago, I was on targin about six weeks ago but stopped taking it as I felt the other medications I was on we re enough for the pain relief as i was on norspan patch 10mg and after the operation they also put me on endone 5mg and I m also on a very small dose of methadone which I ve been on now for 3years. I ve stopped the endone about a week ago the norspan I stopped about 1 week ago. I still have a script for the endone but don t really want to get it filled, and don t want to start the norspan again . I also take Panafon osteo, and I do have some targin here and was wondering if it was better to take that then get the endone prescription filled as I ve had a bad headache for about three days as well as the usual muscle pain etc from the hip replacement which I can deal with it s just this headache I m not coping with. What should I do and will I have any side effects from taking the targin again . Jodi lane

Targin is a combination medication contains two active ingredients: oxycodone and naloxone.
Oxycodone belongs to the group of medications known as opioid analgesics (narcotic pain relievers).
Naloxone belongs to a group of medications known as opiate antagonists and is primarily used to lessen the constipation caused by oxycodone.
This combination is used to treat severe pain in adults.
The following side effects have been reported by at least 1% of people taking this medication. Many of these side effects can be managed, and some may go away on their own over time.
These include: constipation, diarrhea, dizziness or lightheadness, fatigue, headache, nausea, sweating and vomiting.
Kindly seek medical attention promptly if any of the side effects you could be experiencing continues to be bothersome or do not go away.
