What Are The Side Effects Of Typhoid Medicine In Pregnancy?
i am 30 years old and 9 weeks pregnant and i have typhoid Salmonella O - positive (DIL 1:160) and salmonella H -positive (DIL 1:80) . Gynaecologist has suggestedd to take CEFTUM 250mg tablets.. kindly let me know is this tablet has any side effects during my pregnancy?

Hi thanks for your question ,ceftum is cephalosporin antibiotic considere as safe in pregnancy, Ceftum tablets are used for the treatment of certain types of bacterial infection and should be used strictly as instructed. Certain Side effects have been associated with Ceftum tablets; most of them are mild .Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting are some common side effects associated with Ceftum tablets.please do follow up with gyneacologist.
