General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The undescended testis is the presence of testis above the scrotal sac as inguinal region or intra abdomen in some cases. There are few chances in range of 0.5 to 1 % for the development of Carcinoma or malignancy in the undescended testis. Kindly discuss the same with your consultant surgeon and proceed for the surgical removal of the undescended testicle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
