What Are The Side Effects Of Using Homide And Betnesol-N?
dear doctor, my doaugther is 5 year old. She had posterious uveitis. Eye dop HOMIDE, BETNESOL-N, ATTROPIN SULPHATE OINTMENT is using arount 1 month. Is any serious issue regarding this or we should stop the medicine. As the medine given by the AIIMS doctor.
Homide and atropine sulphate ointment is helpful in releasing the symptoms. Betnesol-N contains betamethasone, a steroid that reduces the inflammation. It's not clear from the description, what was the reason for posterior uveitis. Homide and atropine ointment should be usually taken only till the symptoms persist. Betnesol-N should be taken as instructed only. Long term use of steroids are not usually desirable. Please do take the drugs for the prescribed duration only. Have a regular follow up with your ophthalmologist after that. Hope the above information helps you. Thanks you very much for writing into healthcaremagic.
