Hi

Thank you for your query on HCM

I understood your concern about your wife and the usage of Seroflo during pregnancy.

Seroflo consists of Salmeterol and fluticasone propionate.

In US FDA system, it is under pregnancy category C, that means it is not been studied in pregnant humans or when in animal studies shown harm to fetus(terratogenic, embryocidal) and is not studied in pregnant woman.

It is prescribed by a Doctor only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

Please get an opinion of a Gynecologist before such medications.

Wish you and your family a Good health.

Thank you...
