What Are The Side Effects Of Using Depo Provera?

Hello. I have been on depo provera for a little over 2 years now. I have been experiencing intense lower abdominal pain every month around the time that I would normally get my menstrual cycle. I have noticed that each month it is getting worse. It is very uncomfortable and I am not sure what it could be. I am seeing my GYN in the next few weeks, but I wanted to get an opinion before then.
