What Are The Side Effects Phenylephrine Hydrochloride?

My daughter is 3 month old. She is suffering from cold. Doctor has suggest two medicine: 1) PHENYLEPHRINE HYDROCHLORIDE AND CHLORPHENIRAMIINE MALEATE ORAL DROPS. 2) AMOXYCILLIN AND POTASSIUM CLAVULANATE ORAL SUSPENSION. Tell me dosage and side effect of these.

Greetings of the day

Phenylephrine drops are not recommended in children less than 2 years of age.\
Also routine use of higher antibiotic like Amoxycillin+ Clavulanate is not recommended.
Majority of respiratory infection are viral in origin and self limiting. It requires supportive care. Instillation of normal saline nasal drops into nostril will provide much needed relief.
