I ve been diagnosed with Valley Fever and have just completed six months of antibiotics. I am still having lots of mucus which is light to medium yellowish in color. I cough a lot and have wheezing. Could there be something else going on besides Valley Fever?
Hi Valley fever is a fungal infection & anti-fungal medications are prescribed, so you may have chronic pulmonary infections as a result of side-effect of anti-fungals. For this, a periodic follow-up is needed by your treating Physician or a Pulmonologist. Thank you
