What Are The Signs Of MS?

If someone says they have MS are there any signs that can tell if they do. My friend has said he has had MS since 2005. I have never seen any medications. Also he has worked 40 hrs a week this entire time as a stock man. He hasn t called off in 3 yrs. Do you think he really has the disease?

MS can "appear" to be quiescent in some individuals without much progression over the time. That all depends on what the initial symptoms were and where the lesions in the brain and spinal cord are located. It certainly sounds like a very benign case of MS if it has stayed so quiet that it doesn't even affect him at all on the job in the past 3-5 years. Therefore, I think it is likely he has MS only because I have no way of categorically refuting it based on what you are telling me.
