What Are The Swollen Supraclavical Lymph Nodes On The Left Side?

Hi I have two swollen supraclavical lymph nodes on the left side and constant pain down my left arm. The pain in my are is hard to describe as I can't actually pinpoint which part the pain originates from. I wake up two to three times in the night absolutely boiling hot but am not drenched in sweat. I keep my bedroom cold so I can cool off. I consulted my doctor who said the nodes are small. I would say about the size of a piece of sweet corn. And has reffered me to the ENT department. I have an appointment in three months time. I am really worried that I have to wait
so long. Does this sound serious to you. One other thing . I do have a bit of a twinge in one of my back teeth. Could this have any bearing on the lymph nodes. I am 49 years old and female. Please help. Thank you JAN

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Supraclavicular lymphnodes are a concern. I suggest you to not wait for 3 months and get imaging and pathological tests done immediately. It can be any thing from a simple infection to something really dangerous and that which may need to be treated immediately.
