What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Chlamydia Infection?
About 5 years ago I had a one night stand with a women. I had a condom on when we intercoursed. However, it is the way she put on the condom for me that made me uncertain whether I would catch chlamydia or not. She placed the condom on the tip of my penis then unrolled it with her mouth down my penis. What would be the chances of me catching chlamydia or any other STD? My girlfriend, who I was together after this incident has had 3 UTIs since being with me. I am her first and only sex partner. I understand UTI and chlamydia probably doesn t have much relation, but I am just paranoid as I have come across a friend who is telling me about chlamydia recently because she has been infected. It appears that chlamydia could be the problem but we cannot be sure without a confirmation provided by a laboratory. If your girlfriend has displayed signs of an infection, and you have been diagnosed with chlamydia then it would only be right for you to inform your partner(s), requesting them to get tested as they could have the infection themselves.
Treatment includes antibiotic therapy usually with azithromycin or doxycycline as first-line medications. Please visit a clinic or a hospital for diagnosis and initiation of treatment immediately.
