What Are The Symptoms Of DNS And How Can It Be Cured ?

sir i am 19 year old(male). from last 4 year i m suffering from blocked nose,itching throat and headace too.when it occurs my left nostrils pains during sneezing , coughing and youning.it mainly start in sneezing when i wake up in the morning and after half an hour the above symptoms occurs. it get increases due to exposure to dust, pollution etc.doctors tell me it is DNS and it only cure is operation.......pls sir give me some helpful guidance regarding that.

1. Every case of DNS does not require surgery.
2. First take a 15 day trial with a combination of anti allergic + anti leukotriene and a steroid nasal spray along with steam inhalation daily, under medical supervision.
3. If the response is satisfactory, you will not require surgery. Continue the medicines under medical supervision.
4 Radio frequency ablation of nasal turbinates is an alternative procedure.
5. Septoplasty, SMR or nasal surgery for DNS is recommended when the above treatment does not lead to any improvement.
6. A plain CT PNS (Para Nasal Siniuses) on a multislice CT Scan machine is recommended before any nasal surgery, endoscopic or traditional.
7. You may share your CT images via a free file sharing site such as www.filesanywhere.com and post a link here.
