Hi how do i approach a clinic in navi Mumbai and ask for an hiv test . What are the costs . How dangerous is having hiv .what are the symptoms and after how long does it show up . Is there a cure for this .is it that i can never get into a relationship if i have contracted this

Welcome to HCM.
To get tested for HIV is really easy. All the government hospitals in India offers this test at "ICTC" (integrated counselling and testing center). Testing is free and you will be counselled and all your queries will be answered there. All that you say will be kept confidential.
Presently, we don't have any drugs that can cure HIV but we have medicines that will control it and the person can live 10-15 years or even more with infection by adopting healthy life style.
On getting the virus, you may not have any symptoms or they may be very mild like other viral illness. There after there will be a silent stage for 6-10 years. Afterwards, the patient may develop many kind infections and symptoms like fever, lymph node enlargement, oral ulcers, diarrhea, TB and many more.
You can have sexual relations if you are HIV positive but wearing condom is must.
