Hello
You mentioned that you are having fever , particularly in the night fro last 2 months.
But you also mentioned that you are also having
dry cough and typhoid positive ( according to you ).
There is also a history of unprotected sex 2 months back .
But elisa test for HIV was negative .
All these symptoms may be due to these reasons, these include:
1
Tuberculosis , as this is most common cause , because all symptoms are an indication of tuberculosis. Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest , blood for C B C , E S R ( if very high i.e. >100 mm strongly suggestive of tuberculosis or HIV or any chronic illness or disease).
2
Typhoid fever may be the another cause of such fever . Diagnosis can be confirmed by serology and
widal test ( repeat ).
3
Bronchiectasis or allergic
bronchitis ,because usually dry cough ( prolong period ) is associated with asthmatic type allergic bronchitis .
However in your case you main
stress is on HIV infection but in my opinion you are NOT having HIV infection .
I recommend you get in nucleic acid amplification test for confirmation of HIV ( pcr rna ).
Deal as I mentioned above and consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
