Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My sister has been diagnosed with parkinsons disease. Some of here symton s are hard time breathing, walking,( she has to think about moving her feet ) the same for her fingers and she has the shakes. I am not sure of the other symton s. She found a tick on her a while back. Could she have lyme disease? She also lives on the water. Could it be from mold? We have read about parkinsons and it doesn t seem to fit her and her dentist also said it doesn t sound like it to him either.
Hello and thank you for the question! Parkinson's signs and symptoms are:1.Tremor,which usually begins in a limb, often your hand or fingers.2.Bradykinesia or slowed movement,Parkinson reduces the ability to move and steps become shorter.3.Loss of automatic movements, which mean a decreased ability to perform unconscious movements, such as blinking or smiling.4.Speech problems, which means that you can speak quickly or slowly,or hesitaeìte before speaking.5.Rigid muscles in any part of the body.People with Parkinsons disease, perform low levels of brain dopamne and the treatment is to increase the level.I would advice you to consult a neurologist about your sister! Best regards!
