Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Recently had strange smelling urine, although the smell has subsided, but now have frequency, which sometimes has a normal flow but other times it does not. There is a feeling that i have not completely emptied my bladder. There is no burning, and i do not have fever or chills. It is mainly uncomfortable. Is it possible i have a UTI? This has been occurring about a week now.
Urinary tract infection symptoms that may be seen: - Pain in the lower abdomen or groin. - Pain while urinating - other symptoms maybe burning sensation while urination, increased frequency of urination, foul smelling urine, any colour change in urine, incomplete urination, or blood in urine.
According to the information you have provided, it might be UTI.
Firstly my advice is to drink plenty of fluids, stay hydrated. Daily water intake should be minimum 2 liters. If this does not solve your problem then you have to give your urine sample for testing and according to the reports your treatment can be decided.
Hope this helps. Take care.
