What Are The Symptoms Of A Bleeding Ulcer?
I had blood work done and my iron level was 2. My hemoglobin was 8.9. I was having finger pain and stiffness but a steroid shot took care of that. I have been anemic for over 20 years. I have gastritis too and many food allergies. Also, neck and back pain. Could I possibly have a bleeding ulcer instead of gastritis. What is causing my anemia?

Bleeding from the gastric ulcer is very less likely and the reason behind the low hemoglobin could be something else and that need to be found out, most of the time oozing of blood from GI tract may the cause of this, hope this helps.
