Hello,
1st-degree
heart block usually does not have any symptoms and does not require treatment, unless you are taking a medication that might be causing this, such as a
beta-blocker, in which case the medication may be stopped or switched with another medication. The symptoms of thrombosis depend on where the thrombosis is. If it is in the leg, the symptoms often are swelling and pain in that area. If it is in the lung, it will often have symptoms of chest pain and
shortness of breath. The treatment is blood thinners such as heparin and coumadin.
For collapsed veins, the most common cause would be
dehydration, which may have symptoms of
lightheadedness, dry mouth, and decreased urine output. The treatment would be fluid repletion, perhaps with IV fluids.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
