What Are The Symptoms Of Balanitis?

Hello I believe I have balanitis. I am uncircumcised and have been cleaning it for about a week and keeping it dry. At times I get some pain on the base of my penis head. I m trying not to masturbate at all. How long will it usually take to go away?

Hi,

I don't think you are having balanitis but just discomfort of procedure of circumcision.

The pain may last up to a week and it needs about three weeks for an adolescent or adult to get healed.

You can use Acetaminophen for pain. Wash it with gentle soap and water and dry it well. Can use loose cotton underwear and petroleum jelly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
