Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I've been a drummer for almost 3 years now. I play very hardcore stuff. Back when I was younger, I punched a wall and moved the one bone in my right wrist up. Ever since my wrist has been very weak to a lot of shock. Now my left wrist is acting up as well. I ask my drum teacher what it could be, and he said it could be the start of carpal tunnel and said I should get wrist supporters until we have a definite decision. So I got the wrist supporters and they feel much better on my wrists now when I drum. I'm only 14, could this be the beginning of carpal tunnel, or just a nerve problem? Carpal tunnel also runs in my family as well.
