Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Catract is a disease of old age and manifest in people older than fifty years. It present with gradual worsening of eye sight, near vision affected first followed by distant vision. The symptoms you have described are seen in cataract patients. An ophthalmologist can easily detect cataract by using an ophthalmoscope. Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
