Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an abnormal pap 10 years ago, found to have HPV. The OB/GYN found precancerous cervical cells and removed with LEEP procedure but I never went back for a follow up. Now I am having some symptoms that seem like they could be an indication of cervical cancer but also have a lot of other conditions they could be inidicative of. I don t have a PCP or OB/GYN because of my insurance and am wondering if I could go to the ER for answers. Also I am curious of you could tell me if the symptoms I m experiencing lean toward cervical cancer and also if I could go to the ER for tests due to my lack of proper insurance for private practice doctors.
