What Are The Symptoms Of Coccobacilli And How To Treat Them?
Is nausea, smell adversions, food adversions ans sometimes cramps normal if i have coccobacilli consistent with the shift of vaginal flora? After i have my last period and its not normal i started feeling all this sypmtoms upto now, then when i got pap smear test january 29 2016 i got the result that i hav that coccobacilli. Whats really going on? Im so confused. Please help. Thanks in advance
Hello dear Understand your concern. Following are the symptoms of symptoms of coccobacilli: Foul smelling brown/white vaginal discharge, soreness, itching, pain during urination, redness, abdominal cramp. Diagnosis: Microscopy of discahrge: specific cell like clue cell may be present Decrease in vaginal Ph ELISA , gram stain and NAAT of vaginal discharge Urine routine and microscopic examination Treatment:
In addition 2. Avoid sex till you clear from infection 3. Use safer sex practice: Use condom, Dental dams 4. Maintain hygiene after sex 5. If fever: Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg BD 6.Tablet cetrizine 5 mg BD orally Hope this may help you Wish you good health Best regards Dr. Sagar
