General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms of the flu can include:
- Fever or feeling feverish/chills
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Muscle or body aches
- Headaches
- Fatigue (tiredness)
- Vomiting and diarrhea (more common in children)

You may be still experiencing symptoms related to the flu, especially if you have not fully recovered yet. Allergies can also cause similar symptoms such as sore throat, cough, and nasal congestion.

As for your question about puberty causing throat pain in Adam's apple area, it is possible but unlikely. Throat pain in that area is more commonly caused by inflammation or infection of the thyroid gland, which is located in the neck and is responsible for producing hormones that regulate metabolism.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
