What Are The Symptoms Of Gastroenteritis?

i developed ibs after a bout of gastroenteritus, my stools are usually either loose and light brown/ or hard and round again light brown, but today they were loose but a lot darker brown then normal and then again dark brown with a bit of mucus it didnt look like blood, should i be worried?
