Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Blood test done for coeliac disease 18 months ago came back inconclusive. Was recommended to try a gluten free diet and reintroduce slowly. Had already done this with dairy and symptoms improved, tried to reintroduce gluten after 6 months slowly and symptoms returned. Had many symptoms of coeliac so if bloods are inconclusive and symptoms returning after trying to reintroduce does this mean I have an intolerance to gluten and bloods could be wrong and I could be coeliac?
Not all but some patients have allergy to foods containing glutein. There is no other option than to substitute food so try alternate foods to relieve from GIT issues.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
