From the clinical history that you provided it does not seem like a case of granular pharyngitis. The small lumps that you are seeing could possibly be due to lymphoid response to the recent infection in your throat. They generally disappear in a few days
Warm salt water gargles thrice daily for 5 days could be helpful.
