At the age of 40 - 20 years ago, I had a crainiotomy for an astrocytoma on my optic chiasm. The tumor returned twice as large, so I had 6 weeks of radiation. Two years later I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. A couple years later, I changed Doctors, and my new doctor diagnosed me with panhypopituitarism. Since that time, I ve developed insomnia, increased weight gain, body/joint aches, fatigue, and hair loss that is so bad, that I have to use eye shadow to cover thinness over my entire head. I m currently taking Synthroid 150mcg, Enjuvia 125mg, Ambien 5mg, Claritin 10mg, and Biotin 10000 units. My Endocrinologist retired, going to a new one now . . I have the same complaints. Recent labs: TSH Low 0.014 uIU/mL T4, Free 1.53 ng/dL Glucose 116 mg/dL Prolactin High 37.5 ng/mL Insulin-Like Growth Factor Low 40ng/mL Cortisol - High 20.3 ug/dL Any opinion as to all my symptoms in relation to rececnt labwork levels?
